I filed my 1040 at the State Road 13 location. The accountant I worked with apparently made an error, because months later, the IRS wrote me stating that I owed $3,000 in unpaid taxes. I asked this H&R Block location if they could make it right. They acknowledged the error that was made at State Road 13 and said that they “fixed it.” Unfortunately, I just got another notice from the IRS stating that I now owe $7000. At this point, I have lost trust in H&R Block.

My so called tax expert Buddhika with 10 years of experience didn't know anything about IRA withdrawals and the exceptions to the penalties. She asked her coworker in the cubicle next to her for help and this lady didn't have any context about my situation and gave her the wrong advice without even speaking with me. I was then "advised" to pay the IRS over $1k that I shouldn't have.
