Multi team leader (initial: CD) She was so rude. She didn’t event want to look up my file to find out problems and kept asking to call H and R rep number, shaking her head. And whispered with her colleagues in the corner of the office and the colleague said “we cannot do anything, just call H&R rep number. I was scheduled an appointment here to get tax help and advice, and was told they don’t give tax help and advice maybe because it was a Friday afternoon, but it just really seemed like Diane had no desire to do her job. H&R is typically great, but this was a really awful experience. Gave an extra star because her colleague was kinder and more helpful.
- We were seen 20 minutes after our appointment time (which I scheduled earlier in the morning to avoid delays). - Our preparer hadn’t even glanced at our documents, which I had uploaded to the system weeks before. - The first 30 minutes of our meeting were wasted giving information I’d already submitted online. - Our prepared was so… unprepared… he didn’t even know what clients he was speaking to. I've literally never posted a review before, but will in this case in order to say that this was the worst expenditure of my life. The person who did my taxes was inexpert, confused, had not done the preparatory work for which we'd filled out forms, showed us *someone else's* tax forms after getting confused, took two hours to fill out basic forms, and all in all was a disaster. Back to Turbotax I go. It was an utter waste of money on someone who made taxes *harder* than they usually are. Will never trust H&R Block again.
