Went to this location last year. Found out that the previous owners had given the franchise back to h&r block. The people working appeared to be temporary. We proceeded with our taxes and they were done fairly quickly, however, apparently there was a mistake that the IRS caught and luckily they refunded us some additional money (about $500)..Have used h&r block for 20 plus years, however not this particular location. I'll be going to another h&r block location in the area, but not this one...Avoid
I wish I could give them zero stars. I normally do our own taxes. This year we let them do them do them due to the Emerald card and us having vehicle issues that need fixed ASAP. So the promise of getting a portion of our return now was very enticing. It took over a week to get our taxes finished and cost an extra $600 just to find out that out of our $8k return we are only getting $250 on the Emerald card. Very professional. Tax return done well and expeditiously. Will definitely return next year.
This is an edit of my review lower on the page Judson did our returns messed it up 2 times, we ended up not getting our refund til Dec of 2022 then we found out he didn't do it correctly again and had to have it amended (we went somewhere else) and thankfully was informed that we are due a second refund of the balance that was owed of over 1000. Over a $900 mess up for federal and over a $400 mess up for MD. I do not recommend
