Absolute waste of time. Made an appointment with Dedra Mathews. Upon sitting down at her desk and starting our appointment she huffs out "Today's going to be a long day"...like umm this is the job you chose. After sitting there for an hour while she attempted to do our taxes, we left. She couldn't figure out how to put in local tax...why is someone who's incompetent to their position in the position. I am extremely disgusted with h&r block.. I don't understand how people can claim children on their taxes when no paternity has been established.. I think that's all cases in which taxes are filed paternity should be established before a father can claim a child on taxes.. I'm sure this happens all the time.. but my boyfriend who signed my son's birth certificate without being a certain that he was the father is trying to claim my son on taxes when I disagree that he is the son's father.. just to get low income tax credits..... read more
