I had to nag my tax guy about four times just to get him to do my taxes. He kept asking me the same question over and over, and in the end, everything was done at the very last minute, I submitted my taxes at 11:45 PM on April 15. Honestly, the only reason I filed on time is because I kept calling him and eventually had to talk to his representative instead of him directly. And after all that, he charged me around $500. Yeah… probably the worst experience.
Do not use H&R block if you are a truck driver. We've been doing our taxes the same way every year and have had no issues. This year, we used H&R block and they are having an issue setting up the per diem and my returns aren't even half of what they normally are. If you have a CDL go to ATBS or a tax agency that specializes in CDL taxes. Had I not waited until the last second to file taxes I would be going to ATBS...

No one here can give you a straight answer even if they've worked there for years. Each year it gets worse and worse. Charged for a service I didnt receive. Never received a refund - the bank had to give me a provisional credit cause h and r block refused to fix it. Now we are almost 5 weeks past filing our taxes. Irs says I should have them by now on their website and my transcript h and r block doesnt know when they will release the funds after taking their fees.
