I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment... was told to wait, okay that makes sense... A couple shows up 20 minutes late for their appointment and are immediately taken back to have their business handled. Absolute joke of a dirty empty office space. Do not reccomend.
So got a letter in the mail from The comptroller's office stating that I will not be receiving my state refund as it'll be going towards the collections unit. This is the second time this has happened and the common denominator is H&R Block. I did my taxes with my husband last year with an outside person and we both got our federal and state refund. But dealing with this H&R Block I apparently owe over $1,000 to Federal and now for the second time have my state refund going elsewhere. The first time this happened and I went ... read more
Ms. Mays was great. Responsive, informative, and very friendly. She prepared ny taxes quickly and was patient with my slow upload of documents. I'm happy I had my taxes professionally done this year.
