A friend and coworker of mine went here AFTER me telling him that we qualify for claiming our tools on our taxes. Whoever he went to "didn't let us do it", I looked up the subject on Google and THEIR OWN SITE said that there are two qualifiers for claiming tools, they are an employee as opposed to self employed which he is an employee and that they are required to have the tools to do their job which he is.
