It was definitely my partner’s fault for NOT asking to arrange a payment plan before she left the building. But I’m very upset that the tax specialist didn’t bother to ask my partner if she wanted to arrange an automatic withdrawal to pay IRS back. Instead tax specialist assumed my partner would want to go to the bank and get a cashiers check go to the post office and get a stamp and send off our payment through mail.
