You never get the same person two years in a row. (Barb and Dakota were great). This year one person had no idea what to do with gas royalties. How can you do taxes and not know what to do? We were told it's because she's from Scranton. We had three different people go over our taxes and coming up with different numbers. We were asked the same questions over and over. Just seems no one knows what they are doing. We took our business elsewhere.
In my opinion, the H&R Block office in Tunkhannock is not qualified to do Small Business tax returns. I would never recommend these people for any tax return and would strongly discourage anyone contemplating going there not to.
My tax professional was very confident about taxes which put me at ease. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The price with how simple and fast it was, was so expensive. No dependents, no itemizing, one w-2, and a 1099 for only a thousand. All my personal information was already in the computer with no changes. All that was needed was to imput my numbers on my income. The price was over 350.00 that's ridiculous and unfair.
Mt ax preparer was very professional and answered all of my questions and is very knowledgeable. Very satisfied
