Maggie has been doing my taxes at this location since I bought my first home in 2018. She is phenomenal - easy to work with - and super knowledgeable. She always tries her best to get me the maximum refund every year. I cannot say enough good things about her and how thorough she is - sometimes I can be pretty complicated when it comes to HYSAs/stocks/investments and going to college while being deployed in combat zones and not being from Virginia - she is able to easily navigate all of my lifestyle changes. My state taxes were screwed in 2023 by H&R Block. With the way the "professionals" are handling it this seems lile im gonna have to do it myself. I should have done it that way from the start.
Went in to file an amendment for my taxes. The lady in the front over charged me by $100. I asked my tax preparer was that the right amount, he said no....he talked to his manager who I have yet to speak with and told me that I would be refunded the remaining balance that I was over charged. It's been 2 months now and I still have not recieved my refund. Every time I ask him about it he always says my manager is handling. How long does it take to give put a refund. I am definitely going to someone higher.

I was a mess and late and they were so helpful and respectful. Prompt, detailed, I just moved here and I'll go to this HR block until I move again.
