HRB charges way too much for simple tax prep. For example, I had a form that took the preparer 5 seconds to fill out and it cost me $140. Charging by form does a disservice to everyone with simple tax preps like myself a independent freelancer. You should be charged by complexity, not by form. I will do my own taxes next year. I paid $550 to HRB for less than 30 minutes of service...the same amount I owed for State taxes. HRB is no longer a convenient or cost effective method for doing your taxes.
