Please avoid H&R Block at all costs. We worked with Sophia Choueiri as our tax preparer for 2 years before we discovered mistakes on her end that would end up costing us over $1,300 in fees and interest owed to the State of Vermont. In January 2025, we received a letter from the State of Vermont regarding incorrect filing of our taxes for the 2 years we used H&R Block, and they have been a nightmare to deal with since. I tired to call and speak with my tax agent and was denied by a man at the front desk over the phone who was very rude and just about no help. I won’t be using them for my taxes next year that’s for SURE. 18 weeks later and was never even told I needed to send in more info till I called almost 18 weeks later. Never again. All for the cost of 800$ lmfao.

Rip Offs' Be Careful.. 1. They will ask you how many in your household, Not so that you will get more back, but to charge you more, so they make more. 2. They did 6 years back for me, when you can claim only 3 years back, so they could charge me more, and 4 people in household. $359x6= $2,154.. Instead of telling me i could only claim 3 years back. 3.
