I booked on the website for appointment on Monday morning. Got two confirmations. Drove to location for my meeting. Location is not even open on Monday. Called customer service. She said to wait 15 minutes. Granted, the store has a sign in door that it is not open on Mondays. She then said “would you like to book another time at this location?” Seriously?! Your global booking system and the local stores are not aligned! So frustrating. H&R Block is a mess.

This was my first time using a tax preparation person. I was assigned to Nehanda, who was 30 minutes late for our first meeting. She took my documents, and said she would get to work on my taxes. I thought she would ask questions but she really didnt. She told me when my taxes would be ready, and yet another week went by before she sent them over for review. Once again, my tax professional, Mariana Leybel, has been outstanding. I am so grateful to have her (and H&R Block) do my taxes for the last 10-20 years.

Poor service... overworked tax people... expensive fir basic prep.
