Horrible experience with H&R block . Got double booked I was told to come back in 2 hours. Came back by the time I came back it was late I was rushed out of the building didn't get the copies I asked for I understood it was late so I left , I was left in the dark on how to pay my taxes and was told everything was taken care of. A month and so later nothing is coming out my account checked the paper and I had to get an IRS check. Bait and switch. After spending an hour at their office filling out all the tax information with one of their tax professionals I was told the fee would be $600 and I would receive a tax refund of $1,800. Seemed great! Thankfully I didn't sign anything or pay the fee up front. I left the office expecting to get an email agreement to be signed later that day. However, 2 hours later I got a call from the rep saying I would actually have to PAY $1,100 and I would OWE the IRS $1,800. How is that possible? Insane. I will NEVER us... read more

Nothing special, I was quoted 89.00 for a basic tax return: student loan form, retirement form, and W2.
