My husband and I had an appointment last Friday to have our taxes done. The 1st person helping us seemed unsure of what she was doing and twice I noticed she was entering my husbands information under my name. When she finished, our refund was much lower than I knew it should have been. She tried explaining it away with changes in the child care credits however I doubted this would make over an $8000 difference. STAY FAR AWAY. These “tax professionals” have caused me nothing but trouble, and have been next to zero help. They messed up, have no clue how to fix it leaving me with a huge mess to clean up and pay for, a year later! I’ve given them the opportunity to remedy the issue, with no luck. Do not use them. You will be disappointed.
