Would love to give 0 stars if it would allow. They couldn’t seem to tell us how much it would cost until after we used them to file. Ended up paying them $561 just to file. We aren’t even farmers just 2 working adults with w2s. Suppose to have our refund in 21days, it’s now been 31 days and still hasn’t even been accepted by the irs. Will never use H&R Block again. Will go back to turbo tax, where it is much cheaper and we get our refund when we are supposed to.
In the 16+ years I've worked with HR Block; even this office last year, was I ever told I was required to bring a physical copy of my or dependants social security cards. No CPA has ever required that as well in the few times I didn't utilize HR Block nor does the online system require a copy. Thus due to last year's fiasco that took 6 months to resolve and now this I will no longer be utilizing HR Block ever again in any form or fashion especially not this local office.
