Taxes were done incorrectly. I had an IRA rollover that was double taxed, resulting in me overpaying $2000 to the IRS. H&R Block submitted an amended return (correct this time), which then paid the taxes again, resulting in another $2000+ overpayment to the IRS. I never signed approval for the second withdrawal from my bank account. Initially Jen, the manager, said my fee paid to H&R Block would be refunded due to the error. I never received the refund. Jen at H&R Block in Aston is the best. She was quick, knowledgeable and friendly. She took great care of me after Jackson Hewitt turned me away from my appointment this morning, stating that they were not prepared and would not have enough time in my 1 hour appointment to complete my taxes, advising me to find another JH office up the street. Jen got me in for an appointment the same day, completed my taxes in 1/2 hour and for 1/2 the price that JH quoted me. I could not be happier with the service I received today at the As... read more
Marilyn did a great job preparing my taxes, however, it was SO much money. As a single person, it cost me $350 to get my taxes done here. I won't be back next year, unfortunately. This has NOTHING to do with Marilyn, she was kind, informative, and quick. I just wish it did not cost so much.

Was supposed to get $4800 back they screwed up and I only got $3100 they filed a wrong name on my paper work and that name had owed money so they took my money, now I am filling an amendment with a private accountant I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN AN HR BLOCK AS LONG AS I LIVE AGAIN, and this is the 4th time an hr block has messed my taxes up, and I file one w2 and 1040 easy, not rocket science just wanted rapid refund, which I didn't get cause they had a totally wrong name on my taxes, last year they put wrong address, year... read more
