It was definitely a very pleasant experience. Barry, the tax preparer, is certainly experienced and does everything in his power to ensure you don't owe the IRS—or that you receive a refund. Many people prefer to schedule an appointment specifically with him, though everyone there knows how to do their job and provides excellent service. Fair prices.
Today I had an appointment with Linda. It was my first time using H&R block in over 10 years. Linda was very friendly and great at explaining things. I came in with questions about multiple aspects of filing, and she answered them all without making me feel awkward. Im hoping Ill be able to see her again next year.
I have had my taxes done by h and r for years but this year was completely awful. I decided to drop them off. Got told it would only take a day or two. They had them for over a week and I reached out a few times to check the status with no call back or nothing. It was very frustrating to say the least.
