I have been using H&R Block for 3 years, and I will no longer be using their services. In years past I always selected the option to pay for my return by having the funds taken out of my refund. In addition to the money owed to H&R Block, I also owed taxes to the state. Both of which were taken out from my checking account on the same day. I had an excellent experience getting my taxes done at this location.
My tax lady filed my taxes incorrectly, after I had noticed in person she kept insisting and eventually being annoyed with me and being a little rude with explaining to me ‘how it works’ Eventually I just agreed and moved on to the next segment to avoid conflict. After filing and paying for their ‘peace of mind’ and etc, I went home and did more research, then sent a lengthy message to which she replied, ‘ok I’ll see what I can do’ after uploading requested documents. Used this office for taxes for 10 years. Asked them if they could do a multi state tax return for my daughter who relocated east to the NY area. They had a “professional” or so they said. Tax return was filed incorrectly. We paid for the “guarantee” and lo and behold were ignored when we tried to have it corrected. Worst customer service we’ve ever received.10 years I guess meant nothing to this office. Never again. Beware!
The receptionist and Dee do a great job. Overall a good experience.
