I started off using H&R Block when I was younger and paid ridiculously high fees to get my return e-filed and “ instant” loan. However, the banks would never cash their check without holding it for a week or more. so as I got older, I moved to TurboTax and saved so much money and fees and always got my return quicker then H&R Block. I just TurboTax for years and was very satisfied. I walked in nothing said you needed an appointment, they wasn't very busy but still couldn't see me
Absolutely disgusted with this office and H&R Block as a whole. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Charged my husband and I $900 to file, because of the amount of forms we had? We submitted all of our forms over a week before our appointment. They should give their customers a minimum quote before service, because what are we to do after our taxes are filed and they charge us? My wife and I are both military and have used H&R Block in both Washington St and California before this year. This office is not representing the reputation of what we know H&R Block to be. Checked in for a 10 AM appointment and no one greeted us or acknowledged us at all. We sat for 45 minutes assuming they were busy with other clients.
