Never trust this company with your taxes. The “tax experts” do not have a clear understanding on what a dependent is and will accuse you of tax fraud if you try to claim children you supported all year, but aren’t biologically yours. They didn’t allow me to claim my disabled boyfriend with zero income as a dependent either. Bc we have to be married?? Hello Americans let me tell you how disappointed I am with h&r block do yourself a favor and do not use them.
Final update everything worked out. Shout out to the specialist Edward Moore who kept on the IT people to resolve the problem. 2nd update still getting the runaround going to post all msg between me and their personnel handling my case I feel like I'm being stolen from. Update after waiting all weekend I found out that my taxes were never even submitted do to a technical difficulty it's crazy right after they just had that big breach leaking information.so my personal information is just sitting out there.
