First time tax filer after becoming disabled. I've always done my taxes with Turbo tax prior, but was intimidated with papers I did not understand and wanted a human. Walked into Waverly. Checked in and the lady took all my paperwork and scanned it in. Met with a man who did not speak English well. He spoke very little throughout the process, asking a few questions, signed on the computer and done. $$260.00 is due, pay at the desk!!! It was never told to me at any point the bill was $260!!! I have been doing business with H&R Block for many years. 2024 taxes were done incorrectly I found the error they amended them but they refuse to pay the complete IRS penalty that I'm receiving based on I did not buy their piece of mind insurance. The error was totally theirs I am communicating with the IRS and With Better Business Bureau connected to this and I will never allow them to prepare my taxes again and neither should you
