Block overcharges for Tax returns in a big way. I used there services for the first time when my normal preparer wasn't able to get to them. What a CPA charges me $350 dollars to do Block wanted $500 for their book keeper to do. He spent 3 hours preparing my taxes @ rate of 166.66 dollars per hour. Who gets paid that amount? BTW, my tax preparer charges about $125 to do the same return. To make matters worse they could not even process my payment correctly after being given EFT information twice. I wouldn't Recommend This Location I went in with a schedule appointment With Rebecca the Manager at this location Stated she didn't see me in the system which clearly I had an appointment but they played the white lady that was there so the black lady I had a appointment with could go home , I Went for a loan Which by the WAY THEY Don't INFORM IT A CREDIT LOAN !!!! My wife and I had an amazing experience when we did our taxes. Yiri was very thorough with our case and helped us navigate the websites needed to not only help the 2024 income taxes, but also previous ones that I neglected. I would highly recommend her for her experience and Bilingual abilities.
We had a 3pm appointment with Vanessa Quinn. We walked out at 4:30pm after filing our joint tax return. Vanessa, was a delight to work with and knowledgeable about what we needed. We scheduled our appointment for next year!
Ms.Vanessa was very kind and quick with her work. I will be coming back to her next year <3
