Update- after speacking to corperate and dealing with the not so friendly manager at the location i was given a $75 dollar refund of the $400 i spent. Good thing I found a new tax accountant for next year that isnt affiliated with H&R block so I can actually get the MOST of my refund. Ive been to this location before without any issues, this year was not the case. Our taxes were fairly simple yet the whole appointment Sue, my consultant, seemed confused. I would like to shout out the magnificent job that Haley Nichols did preparing my income taxes. She was very informative, knowledgeable and super polite. I would definitely recommend her services for income tax preparation to my family and friends.
Ive been to this location before without any issues, this year was not the case. Our taxes were fairly simple yet the whole appointment Sue, my consultant, seemed confused. I had to explain multiple times that I have power of attorney and at W2 from VA because we are a military family but our permanent residents is MI. I also had to explain the military exception for out of state taxes.
