I always get my taxes done with Rysta Wilford she's amazing and truly a nice lady she's the reason I go back every year . This year I was treated like garbage by the lady that takes appointments. She said I had an attitude which in fact I did not . I just asked for Rysta if she could do a walk in she automatically said (( Not with Rysta! Edit #2- we are back at it again! Yet another mistake from the same return using the H&R Block back in 2022, this one an almost $6,000 mistake. It’s like a ghost coming back to haunt us. Iris is not taking accountability. We have called the main number and they are taking the matter to the escalation team as Iris won’t even escalate this to her local supervisor. Just great people who know my taxes and give me advice for the next year. I am very satisfied with H&R Block in Cortez. This is my 5th year with them and will continue to use their forever.
My first experience was good I got my taxes done and the lady was nice. But when I called to explain I was sorry for missing an appointment (not on purpose!) for filing on a different year and I learned I actually already did file that year I just forgot to cash in my return, and the lady on the phone goes; "oh so you just let her waste her hours?" So I'd say they are rude and greedy, I'm gonna switch back to turbo tax better the Dealing with two faced people and my filing will be free.
Messed up my taxes. Tried to get a fee waived due to them messing up my taxes and they sent an entirely incorrect letter. Still trying to undo this 9 months later. Thanks for putting a downer on Christmas.
