My son doing his first tax return (should be free; straight W2), cannot get the H&R website to accept box D of his W2, so while looking on the site for help, he finds “Advance Refund” on the website (he wants to buy a car). H&R seems to want you to make an appointment for a fee to get an Advanced Refund (TurboTax doesn’t), even though no one there can tell you if that’s the case or what it is. Estelle had done my taxes at this location. She made an honest mistake however it resulted in over $2000 of penalties. I had to pay that out of my own pocket. They did not live up the tagline, that they guarantee their work. I’m still waiting for this issue to be resolved. Those taxes were for 2019. I would give it a negative rating if I could.

Quick and polite although very expensive for this senior citizen.
Receptionist was very helpful and made extra effort to get things done! All Staff were helpful! Professional
