This time they were unprepared and unprofessional and the tax consultant was not very polite not did she listen to was said
I could have just saved my money and did Turbo Tax. It would have been more thorough, less frustrating and cheaper. She asked zero questions and just put the W2s in. If I hadn’t brought up paying on my student loans or paying rent I wouldn’t have gotten those deductions. She also ignored my requests to set a date for when my state taxes get pulled which over drafted my account. She said she could set a date for it and then didn’t. Unfortunately I am unhappy with the services I got at my first experience with H&R Block. The rep we had clearly wanted to get everything over with as quickly as possible. Essentially no questions were asked. Everything was rushed. She took the W2s, input them and said okay it’s done. And the kicker is we asked for our state tax bill to be delayed to a certain date and yet it hit our account today, over-drafting our account. Used HR block for years online. First time using them in person and I will never again. Not only did they make me pay over $500 for my 1099, they messed it up horribly. Refused to refund me when they messed up and now will not fix the problem with the IRS. I had to pay a third party to help me out.
