HR Block has completed our taxes for our small non profit animal rescue since 2020 and it took Cheryl about 2 weeks to finalize our taxes this year. I then used those taxes to complete our annual paperwork for the attorney generals office. I had a very disappointing experience with H&R Block in Redding/Anderson. I called the Anderson office to schedule an appointment since this location is closer to my home and the tax deadline was approaching. I had rearranged my work schedule to make time. I specifically asked for a recommended preparer (Brock), but since he wasn’t available, I was scheduled with “William” at 2:30. Highly do not recommend, the tax professional who filed my taxes sent me for a loop, asked me to gather my proof of income and come back. While I did so and went back he rushed extremely quickly to file my taxes, did not discuss anything with me as he had a client coming in shortly after me, I then was audited by the Ftb office, they did not help me to fix the issue in which they claim they don’t normally do.
