Shame on me for not checking but, H&R Block just charged me $475.00 to prepare a return that a CPA charged $250.00 for last year. It was even a simpler return that took them less than an hour to prepare including a few minutes spent talking with me. Absolute, bonafide rip off.
This is the second year my wife and I have done our taxes with Skyler, and both times it was the best experience I’ve had doing taxes. He is very knowledgeable and somehow made doing taxes an enjoyable experience.
Wors experience I’ve ever had filing my taxes. I can’t explain to you how stressful this ordeal has been. Take it from me, go somewhere where they know what they’re doing. Good luck!
We had a horrible experience last year with Kathleen. She was very rude and condescending to my husband and I, didn’t file our extension correctly which resulted in us having to pay another fee, then when we came in for our appointment was rude again and pushed us off on another tax preparer. After years of using HR Block, we will not use again.
