Having moved to New Mexico in 2022, I decided to try the HR Block office on Zafarano to process my 2023 returns. I am retired an assumed that my tax returns would be relatively easy for the trained staff. Rivers Vineyard was my tax preparer and he finished my taxes quickly and with an unexpected refund. Unfortunately, as it turned out, he had made mistakes on my federal and state returns, which I did not become aware of until I was doing my 2024 returns. Dropped off my docs - they lost them. Enough said.
If i could give 0 stars i would. They were rude and he was chopming on gum so i could barely understand what he was saying to me. He did not allow me to ask any questions nor did he have any kind of real experiance. Please go to another tax professional who is trustworthy.
