Good quick service. Very accomplished preparer.
It was one of the worst tax experiences we've had. We have used H&R Block for 10 years now and moved here last year. Set up an appointment with our local place and went in. It took much longer than it should have. Our tax preparer made 2 mistakes that we didn't find out about until later when it bit us in the butt. The mistake cost us part of our return, and the other mistake has made it so we haven't even received our IL return yet! They won't help even though we paid for the extra protection. The price to file was too expensive. I was given an estimate but it was 200 more than the estimate. I typically file my own but felt I needed some help and it was simply too expensive. Also my appointment was at 6, didn't get started until almost 6:30. There is also no good phone singal in the building far as internet. I had to stand up front to get signal If I needed to pull up receipts and such for my taxes.
Professional, Fast, friendly and flexible. I was concerned about a random person showing up on my taxes as my husband. I have been a loyal customer to H&R Block for over 12 years. Filing taxes as a single military woman at my paygrade is becoming a little too expensive for me with what very little I own. Other than that, it has been a pleasure working with the staff at H&R Block.
