I waited till the last minute to file my extended taxes. I was calling multiple H&R Blocks and nobody answered, except at this one. Maria took me on last minute and I was not an easy file. Nobody thought I could get it completed, including other CPAs before October 15 deadline, but she did. She was very professional and explained things along the way. I've been coming here for almost 6 years seeing the same person and today was the first time I had an experience but I'm not too happy about I was left sitting there for 48 minutes nobody told my preparation person that I was waiting there for my second appointment the receptionist didn't take any accountability when I said hey next time can you please let my tax person know I'm sitting here 45 minutes later.. by no means does this have anything to do with my awesome tax preparer Kathleen she's amazing
Had a bad experience last year. Got there for our appointment and everyone was frazzled. The person doing our taxes said we owed. I knew it did not seem right, so I called and questioned it and asked if she had calculated the pre-payment we had already made, and she said she had. We made another appointment to come in and sit down and once we did that she realize she had not counted it and in fact, we had a refund coming back just kind of frustrating because we paid over $400 to have our taxes done there and I thought there ... read more
