They don’t know basic rules about tax. A woman(she didn’t tell me her name) was very rude and yelled at me with a bunch of incorrect information. I went to a different H&R and everything was taken care of in 20 minutes and got IRS and IL approvals in one hour. Avoid this place.
I dropped off paperwork for an overdue tax year, and I was told that it would be handled and be ready for pick up soon after my drop off. I've been waiting for at least 3 months. I've been calling and finally got Julia on the line to help me, but she told me that she would call me back in the next 15 minutes to help me. It's been another month and now the office e is closed till January...I am so stressed out. I just want my paperwork back so I don't get penalties from the IRS.
Thank you to the staff at H&R block! Paul Moy helped me understand what I can do to prepare for my taxes next year, and walked me through the differentiations of the types of income that I had coming in this past year, so that I could accurately report my expenses and other items to get the best tax return for my needs as someone with multiple 1099's, schedule C's and W2's. Wahoo
