We scheduled and received a confirmed tax return appointment through the official online booking system of H&R Block. The appointment clearly showed as confirmed in the app, and at no point were we informed that we needed to wait for a phone call or take any additional steps to finalize it. When we arrived, the manager claimed they had called us and that we did not answer — and therefore our appointment was not valid.
