I tried explaining that for 2 years I have the EIN numbers for 11 different jobs but I wasn't able to figure out how to match the EIN numbers with specific jobs to get my W-2s and she kept saying call your last employers but I very politely said I don't know which jobs I've worked in which ever years and in the middle of trying to explain, very politely I might add, that I didn't know which employers it might be and asked if I could get help with figuring it out from a tax expert.
