This was my first time filing with H&R Block and I did not have a pleasant experience. I will be going elsewhere next tax season. I opted for the video appointment, and uploaded my documents prior. Margaret Chen did not appear on the video portal and instead called me for the tax return, this felt unprofessional. Margaret Chen was also hard to understand, impatient, and incorrectly input several items on my forms. I had a great experience with Margaret! I walked in and she was efficient and thorough with completing and explaining my taxes to me. I needed help with understanding my W-4 form and she taught me what to do to ensure it is correct. Thank you!!
Stay Far Away! My taxes where filed by Ms. Deanna Clark. A basic mistake was made resulting in a substantial fine. Ms. Clark has never returned emails or phone calls, neither has the office. Only after attempting to book an appointment was I able to get connected to a manager, Ms. Wendy Ramirez. I was able to schedule an appointment with Luba at the 600 Summer St location.
