We filed our taxes today at H & R Block (Golden, CO). They’re always friendly, professional, and quick. The fee this year was $164.00 (up $11.00 from last year) but it's reasonable. We highly recommend Twilla Dilworth (she's done our taxes for years).
Not a good experience this year. Late completion of returns and poor communication on the status was cause for much angst that is unnecessary and unacceptable. Be more responsive & be better!
So far, this is the worst experience I've ever had with any professional services company/provider. My tax pro, Marcia, did not show to our first appointment at all, then was 7 minutes late to our second. I uploaded everything that she told me was needed by March 12, and I have heard nothing from Marcia in a month despite leaving several emails and voice messages at the office.
