This is the 3rd year we'e had trouble in this office. You can't talk to anyone except the receptionist, who seems not to even know anything or even where she works. We'll probably go another branch.
Tax service is fine but the cost is exorbitant. I recommend, and will be doing this in the future, learning how to do them yourself. And H&R Block fundamentally misunderstands the tax situation regarding Oregon preparers and would not let people in California do Oregon taxes, even though this is NOT THE REQUIREMENT. I know this FOR CERTAIN because I contacted the Oregon DOR and they told me directly that H&R Block misunderstands.
