Due to my disability, I had my records dropped off for processing. Within hours Anne Helzer contacted me with 3 questions for clarification and then 2 hours later let me know my taxes were ready to be picked up and signed. Impressive! May 2026 Still using H & R Block for tax preparation and still using Anne Helzer in the Greenbrier office. Incredibly unhelpful and dismissive staff. I went in for help for my taxes after I got a notice that there was an issue with my return. I met with Mah and we talked in circles for 10 mins and by the end she said that she can’t fix my problem and I need to call the H&R Block 1-800 helpdesk number. When I asked if she could provide the number she just stared at me and told me that I could go home and google it…..so rude! Need less to say I will not be filling with them next year! Greg took the time to walk me through my taxes, explaining anything I didn’t understand. He helped me set up estimated taxes that will help for 2026.
Umesh Achia at H&R Block (Fairfax, VA location) has been amazing in helping me with filing taxes for both 2024 and 2025. He is kind, clearly explains tax terms that are not easily understandable, and is flexible in making himself available for scheduling appts. I highly recommend him!!
