I chose this company because they advertised their ability to file US taxes for expats living abroad in many countries. Because I live in Spain, I am required to file and pay taxes in Spain first, then file US taxes using a tax credit to prevent double taxation. The reality is that HRB does not have the capability to handle any of this. I have never written a review before, but my experience at H&R Block was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an older lady who immediately scoffed at me. As I explained my tax situation, I was met with eye rolls and snarky comments.
