I have been with H&R Block for the past 20 years preparing my taxes ( new here to Maryland) and have had good experiences with H&R Block with the exception of this office. Very unprofessional is all I can say disappointment I will never ever do business with H&R Block again. Just because of the experience I had at this particular office with the people working there Beatrice and how my taxes were prepared, I will definitely file my own taxes for free instead of paying $350 to incompetent people. Beatrice!!! ;( My experience with this location has not been good. I have been here three times. I realized that the first two years I paid a lot of money because I didn't know about other options. The last year was the worst. The lady named "Beatrice" was unprofessional and rude. After her calculation she told me I owed taxes, but when I asked to double-check with other places, she charged me $100 for consulting and said I was wasting her time. This isy first time that i see they separated federal tax charges from state tax charges and they bill you two different charges for one W2. I totally understand state taxes they need separate charges but at the end we have one federal tax that is on your one w2 or even different w2 with different state taxes. They charge you $260 for something that is very easy and it's included in your free for $85.
Miss Beatrice at H&R Block on Rowanberry in Elkridge is terrific! Use her if you are able.
