Went there was told $180 then said $220 then told $250 after taxestaxes and it was so expensive because of my investments. Was told that was the price and that working with investments costs alot. Went home found out i could have done it for free. Went back (litterally was 10-15 mins ) from when i left, they told me no refunds and wernt willing to reduce a price or anything. Very disappointing experience. I paid H&R Block for professional tax preparation, but for my tax return I had to identify important IRS filing issues myself, correct misunderstandings from their team, and repeatedly follow up to prevent mistakes. They even sent confusing information about e-filing when my return could not be e-filed. The return was only corrected after I spent significant time reviewing IRS rules and explaining the problems. I got turn around and a car pull up behind me. I ask if I could turn around but I thought the exit was on the other side of the garage. I didn't know. When I was driving to figure it out the security guard came out and started yelling at me. Like I have been there before. I have been filing my taxes with HR Block’s Expat Tax Department for the last five or six years. This year, I uploaded my various documents, onto the HR Block dashboard, as I always do. These documents disappeared and the HR Block Expat Tax Department could not explain why they went missing.
