I wish I could give 0 stars. I took my 75 year old dad to get his rent rebate taxes done. After a month he called the IRS to find out the preparer did something wrong. Had to go back to H&R Block to get it fixed. Then waited a month, called the IRS and it's still not right. He was told exactly what they needed and an email address to send it to. On March 22, I was overcharged by H&R Block when they upgraded me to a product that I did not use or need. I immediately contacted H&R Block. A representative apologized and instructed me on how to get a refund on the unused product. After many attempts between April 11 - 18 at resolving the issue, H&R Block again affirmed that they did indeed charge me for an unused product. Charge me double than what I paid last year taxes.
I am pissed off because I have filed my taxes with H&R Block for the past three years last year. I referred one person they got their taxes and I never got my referral fee this year. I referred five people and I have not got one penny I have not heard anything from last year or this year. This is ridiculous when I call the corporate number. Every time I have gone to hrblock something Allways goes wrong terrible company only cares about profit they do not care about any of there customers they only care about how much there going to make and how fast they can get u out the door so they start on another terrible business and company tax rep put the wrong birthday last year couldn’t even get approved because of this company find a personal tax pro screw the big corperations they really don’t care and hrblock is diffently not free
