I was completely dissatisfied with experience at the Whiteford branch of H&R Block. My tax professional was the complete antithesis of professional. He was demeaning, rude and took a 10 minute personal call during my time with him. He spoke to me like I was stupid and incompetent, spoke negatively of a former co-worker with whom I am an acquaintance and joked about his sexuality. I left feeling sick to my stomach and I will never ever be conducting business with them again.

Wont be returning . I was quoted one price to do my taxes, came back three weeks later to find the price had gone up by\$85 . No one said it was a special price that was temporary. Agent who was going to do my taxes was very cut and dry no personality at all. Im not sure he even knew about all the newest tax credits for the year. Told them we were going to come back later only to have my w2s thrown to me instead of handed. Took my business to liberty tax across the street. They worked with us and we filled for much cheaper. ... read more

I had an awesome experience this year by not filing at home with HR Block in Cresco Iowa. I reccommend filing with the HR block in Cresco and your results will be far better then any CPA ( I used in Prior years to maximize a return.Try Hr Block in Cresco, you wont be disapointed!
I have had great service from this firm for the past 10+ years. I was worried when I heard the firm had been recently sold, but when I called H & R Block corporate, I found that nothing had really changed and that several of the people who I had dealt with over the years now own the franchise. They said I could expect the same great service I always experienced. Locally owned, better yet!

No problems. The tax guy I had explained everything thoroughly, helped me get a few deductions I didnt think of and I got my refund in less than 2 days.
