Horrible experience. Jan quoted our taxes just under $500, in the end he charged us $845 and would not respond to phone calls. He filed paperwork we didn’t need for our now 18 year old child. We are very disappointed. We need every penny of our refund from our business. He scammed us. Would rate zero stars if I could. Agness road H&R is not good for small businesses.
It was so nice to just drop off our documents and then go in and sign and pick up our copy. It was more expensive then I was expecting but they got us a much bigger refund then I was expecting so it was completely worth it.
Jan Bryant(tax pro) is not responsive and will not call you back. He doesn't get back after messages have been left. He doesn't return calls or reply to emails. Hanna was so rude and locked the doors before the posted closing hours and lied about a tax pro being available. Athena lacks basic customer service to not hang up on people after she calls you. Jan Bryant is past his time to be working in the tax industry. Jan doesn't know how to use basic communication for h and r block. Hanna lied about a tax pro being in a meeting and decided that she was going to lock the door before the posted hours. Athena claim they don't have a manager when I called but called me back 5 minutes later to give me her manager phone number.
