Paid h&r block to file my taxes. Due to irs backlog I was not able to check the status of my refund. Finally after reaching someone with the irs it was discovered that h&r block actually never filed my taxes but took payment to do so. This mistake is costing me almost $4,000 + damages and interest. The store manager as well as the district manager refuse to honor the service guarantee and are telling me it's my fault that it wasn't filed although I have a receipt that states it was filed, and filed electronically.
