DO NOT GO TO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM! GO TO OTTAWA GENERAL. Another experience: was brought to the hospital in an ambulance for anaphylaxis. Was told that it wasn't a high priority and that I was looking at a minimum twelve hour wait. Took an Uber to Ottawa General An addition after the fact: if a doctor had physically touched the patient, they would have noticed a tumor the size of my fist growing out of their body. DO NOT GO TO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM. GO TO OTTAWA GENERAL. My previous review was deleted. This emergency room is awful. In 18 months my spouse and I had to make several trips there and discovered that they missed a tumor the size of my fist under his beard. The last visit is detailed at the end of this post. On January 16, 2024 my spouse was in the emergency room for 19 hours. He had cancer, a very aggressive lymphoma. If the doctor had actually touched him they may have found the cancer faster. I want to share my experience giving birth at Hôpital Montfort today 10 September 2026 at 11: 04 pm. While I unfortunately experienced some mistreatment from certain staff members during my previous prenatal visits, my delivery experience today was completely different thanks to an incredible team.Dr. Marc-Antoine Pleau-Lachance and nurse Murielle Simplice did an absolutely excellent job. I was transferred here after almost dying due to low hemoglobin, and I have to say that this hospital is disgusting (at least the C unit, where I was staying. I have gone to endoscopy and imaging units and my grandmother passed in this ICU, all of those units are wonderful. This complaint is about the C unit).
