This review is only for the Family Birthing Centre (first pregnancy). Firstly I would like to say, the family birthing centre portion of the website lists exactly what you can expect before during and after and all the essentials you may need to bring with you. I am going to highly recommend anyone giving birth here to have a quick read. The reason for the 1 star rating is a privacy concern regarding all Ottawa hospitals. I broke up with my ex over 3 years ago, have requested MULTIPLE times to have her removed from my emergency contacts. Last night I went to this hospital and my ex was still my emergency contact. Had an MRI here and it was such a quick and easy process. They were so kind and accommodating to my anxiety!
The 6th floor staff there gets annoyed if you need them "often" makes the patient feel Really bad asking for help when needed?? They almost tell the patient to Foff and you can see it when they feel annoyed with you! At times they 7also speak in there own language?? The other floors are ok! :) And now the person dreams about the wonderful care she had while she was there!! Grr
