I love Howl Adventure Center! Do i start with the amazing Chai? The amazing bike shop? The amazing clothing and accessories? Or the amazing vibe of hanging out with like-minded people? When I am visiting Bayfield, I always go to Howl. In the morning, I can enjoy my chai outside and in the afternoon or evening, I like to get my dinner there with an amazing brew. Low-key, pets allowed and kids running free in the field. Amazing. A special shout out to Phil in the bike shop for his help and Stick for repairs!
Had a great experience renting x-country ski equipment from Howl. Phil was especially helpful in arranging the rental, assisting with equipment choice and boot sizing to ensure that all went smoothly. This was my first x-country ski outing so the extra help and guidance was greatly appreciated. He also provided some great tips for winter hikes in the area which we fully took advantage of during our visit. I would highly recommend Howl for outdoor adventures. I'm sure we will be back on future trips. Thanks Phil!!
this outfitter rocks and is a friendly, approachable one stop shop for ice caves, skis for book across the bay, fat tires for bike across the bay, and all the adventure gear you could need. grab a speciality coffee and breakfast burrito and get outdoors. come back for the beer and fun igloos. love this place and can’t wait to come back. staff rules and are super knowledgeable, they made our long weekend in bayfield a blast, thank you!!
An absolute gem, not to be missed Either it be the Adventure center where you can rent gear for whatever the North Woods has to offer or the shop in downtown Bayfield WI that has plenty of clothing to choose from, the service is top notch and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing And a huge thank you to Phil for taking the time to make sure my cross country ski rig was a good fit and giving me some pointers; I spent the better part of the week I was there on Mt. Had an excellent experience purchasing cross-country skis at Howl ~~ Phil was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, directing me to the correct size and an upgraded ski experience. I’m so thrilled with my purchase and will happily visit again for future outdoor activity needs :)
