Stopped in and found very sparse inventory and staff who were more interested in sitting having coffee with friends than helping new customers. A very awkward and unfriendly little store.
Wonderful folks at this place. I was on a cross country bicycle tour and having a problem with my shifting they let me borrow tools to try to fix it myself and when I wasn’t able to they sorted it out for me at a very reasonable price. Jerry the mechanic was kind And skilled and Phil the store manager was wonderful. In the same building as the bike shop they have a Cafe and a brewery. We had a two stop day at Howl Adventure Center this weekend! We first stopped for coffee and discovered this place is serious about their coffee options. We quickly added their breakfast sandwiches that are super tasty and fresh ( I recommend the Clucker and the Camp Fire Classic)! After sailing we decided to go back. We needed quick help while on vacation to fix holes in our kids mountain bike tire and tube. They fixed it super quickly, at a very reasonable cost and even fixed an alignment issue. They were friendly and wonderful!
Here for a vacation and my gear shifter stopped working. The mechanic was super nice and fixed my bike for a very reasonable price and quickly enough for me to catch up with my group. Wish I lived close that they could be my regular bike shop. Highly recommend!!
