This shop has the best selection and customer service around. Every time I call there is a pleasant person on the phone. I can’t remember the guys name who helped me but he had a large Magnum PI mustache and great sense of humor. I came in thinking I wanted a Hipoint and after renting several handguns I left with the one that best fit my needs a Stoccato XC. A+ dealer.

Howells was everything you want in a range….well equipped, competent trainers, knowledgeable employees, really clean place. I recently went to an all girls First Shooters class taught by Tatiana. What an inspiration she is! She really knows her stuff and makes you feel safe, assured and capable. I can’t tell you what that means to someone who’s just starting out trying to educate myself with how to properly handle/shoot/disassemble a firearm without freaking out. Go here for gunsmithing. For literally ANYTHING else, go somewhere else. Gunsmithing is the only reason I go here because they're really the only ones I know of around. But that's it. They're always so rude, so condescending, barely speak to you, and then once your done, you don't exist in their eyes. I was buying quite a lot of items in here and the guy lazily says "Come over to the register when you're done just standing around". Howell's is simply fantastic. I've taken two courses with them so far -- one with Tatiana one with Mitch -- and both were fun, engaging, and expertly taught.
