My husband has been here since Jan1st.2026 . First the good things. The Rehab people are nice and so are some nursing and CNA staff. Food is tolerable but its presentation sometimes is less than appealing. Now the concerns: Staff don’t really talk to or engage the patient much just do their jobs quietly and leave. So for non mobile patients that don’t get many social opportunities, the days are long and lonely if family is not there. I felt very safe at Houston Transitional Care. The food was very good, and I enjoyed the caregivers wonderful care for me every day! The nurses are very attentive and always make sure residents are taken great care of everyday! :)
Houston Transitional Care is a very comfortable recovery facility. The facility is very clean and the staff is very helpful. Ultimately I've been treated very kindly.
