Paid $70 for a birth certificate and copy including a $15 pickup fee and service fee. Placed the order in around 7am and received a phone call at 9am telling me to pickup the birth certificates before noon. I live an hour and a half away and when I got there they sent me away. There was no information online on the building being closed when I placed the order, receptionist said "Oh we printed out flyers" that they give to people once they arrive? Very awful. The older Hispanic lady specifically at the checkin desk at the birth certificate department had a rude attitude. Had an aggressive tone with people.

Very bad experience by phone call, Im a CN director and I called this morning like at 9 am to check on my city permits invoice mail status and some lady answered the phone was on a bad mood she responded in a very bad manner like she was mad cause she woke up early, we all have problems in our life but in our jobs we have to be as professional as possible it’s part of our jobs to give a kind and a positive customer service, hopefully HHD will do something about it.

I don't like the way clients are spoken to or treated. Parking is limited, the food truck is awesome, and the building is outdated and needs to relocate its service for birth certificates and other documents. The parking garage elevator is always broken, even after being repaired multiple times.

You have to pay 15 dollars to even pick up a birth certificate for a “pick up in office” charge just for them to close early on a Friday because they were “at capacity”. The office is supposed to close at 12 and I was there at 10:30am. There was no one inside the area to pick up birth and death certificates and doors were locked. Absolutely crazy. Do better!
